Is there CCTV at Casa Elana?
There is, but it's essential to say that you can turn it off when you are there!
For security purposes, while the house is empty, the inside and terrace of Casa Elana are covered by CCTV, with motion-detected recordings stored off-site, in the cloud.
These cameras are there for security while the house is empty, NOT to spy on our guests!
Guests are invited to turn them off on arrival by simply unplugging them from the mains power socket.
When you arrive at the house, you will see the cameras and their plugs clearly marked. To turn them off, simply pull the plugs from the wall. We would ask you to plug them back in when you leave. And in the interim time, to not move them, so we can ensure they always point in the right direction.
There are two cameras in the house. One in the dining room/kitchen and one on the terrace. They are all signposted as working CCTV cameras. You can't miss them!
